Touch Pro2?
 

So my keyboard decided it wanted to start crapping out (it works from time to time) and so I took it into a Sprint repair store. The guy said he didn't have the parts to fix it and that I would either have to order a replacement or go to a far away corporate store. I told him I wanted to order a replacement and he said it would take until Tuesday. What are the chances that this replacement might be a TP2?

I think the chances might be really slim ;) sprint might still have a good amount of refurbish =s I sure do hope you get a tp2 tho =]

very slim because they did tell you the options for a replacement. (snap pre tp2 curve)

I went to a 3rd party service center and was told the TP2 was OOS..I drove right over to the Corp store and it magically was on the list. So, at least in my case, it seems that the corp store had a little more "pull".

I work for sprint and the warehouse is empty of the TP2 as replacements, and I keep and eye out for this cause my TP keyboard doesn't work at all and want to replace it with a TP. So yea its slim they were able to order you a TP2.

For what it's worth, I am on my 3rd TP. The first had some weird update issue that would start but never finish when dialing *2

2nd phone was a brand new in box replacement, fit and finish were pretty good, but the keyboard died after 4 months of use.

3rd phone which I got in late October is a refurb, but is the best TP I have had yet. Both in fit and finish and operation. The new ROM is how the phone should have operated when first released aside from its weird quirks, but those were fixed with cab files available on here.

My first replacement was a refurb, but I rejected it because the fit of the parts was terrible. Large gap between screen and keyboard and raised D pad area. So give the refurb a shot, it might just work out.

the last time i went to the sprint store with my buddy, they did not have any in stock, they told em they can order it for him, but he complained enough so they gave him tp2.

Sprint just sent me a replacement TP1 for my TP1. They said the TP2 was not available. The corp store near me said they have the Tp2 in stock but sprint rep said that I cant just trade it in.

GeekCapri, please keep us updated on the TP2 stock!

I personally dont care how many times they want to replace it (4th), the only beef I got is the invisashield that I keep having to replace out of my pocket...
