US Cell - No GPS lock
 

My friend and I are having a "reflashing party", and he's running into a problem on his US cell, GPS. He's not getting any satellites at all. We're both flashed with Dec. 2 EnergyROM 21877. My sprint touch pro gets great signal. To troubleshoot, we both flashed new radios to Telus 1.04.05V. Still, he gets no GPS lock, and mine works excellently. What other things might we try?

(also, maybe unrelated?, his quick GPS throws an error "connection failed. please try again later.")

Unless anyone has a groundbreaking idea, we're guessing at this point that his GPS is shot... Flashed it back to stock US Cellular ROM/radio a few times and still doesn't even begin to work. He says he's going in for warranty/insurance sometime in the next few days. Meanwhile, mine works great on the same exact ROM/CABS/installation procedure...:scratch:

You will need to uncheck all 3 options listed there and then click on Download now. It will then download the coordinates and make it easier to find. first time use..could take upto 5 minutes

Thanks, I'll let him know that. He called and told me this morning that he got the GPS to work after he turned location on.........](*,)
