That is a fairly common problem with s2u2 (along with cr@ppy battery life)

I'm not finding these settings on my Verizon phone....unless I'm looking in the wrong place. I'm in "Settings", then at the bottom of the screen "all settings", then clicking the "personal" tab, then "phone" . That's where I loose you.

I see that you're on Sprint, which may not make any difference.

Please provide more details.

If you are using a custom mp3 ringer, try converting it to wav format. I think I saw somewhere that it helps. I know you mentioned that you used the mp3 trimmer, but if it's still quite long you might try shortening it. You only need about 20 seconds or so before it goes to voicemail. Good luck!

Thanks but it was doing the same on stock ringtones.

Re: Please help with a delayed ring problem

**UPDATE**: I hard reset my phone first and the ringer responded much faster. I get 3 rings on my end instead of 1 now. I went ahead and tried the stock rom also and got 3.5 rings on my end before it went to voice mail. Stock or not, it rings twice on the callers end before it actually will make a sound on my end. Although I wish I could make it ring as soon as it wakes up, I can live with it now. I'm now going to C_Fay 1.2.
I believe this all was caused by the installation and removal of S2U2. My phone did not like that program! I must have changed some registry values or something or just caused too much lag with the dialer altogether.
Good to know that it is not the rom!!!
