How do you know what each ROM build does?
When I follow the ROM threads, I see Windows builds like 28002 28005 28008....
So I was wondering, what is each one improved upon? Is it something Microsoft releases every so many days to make improvements? Also, is there a way to find out what each version brings or fixes in addition to the last like a version history? Thanks for the lesson :) |
Re: How do you know what each ROM build does?
each base released should have a fix/change log with it. each number doesn't indicate the rom but the system base it uses.

Re: How do you know what each ROM build does?
So when you guys are updating ROMS, are part of the features you list part of the update, or is this changelog somewhere else?
Since you personally do ROMS, and you get ready for a new one, and say you go from system base 28005 to 28008, is there a place you personally get the changelog from before you cook it, so you know what had been changed? I'm assuming Microsoft has this somewhere? Thanks for the response Juggs |
Re: How do you know what each ROM build does?
with system base files it's typically trial and error...especially with so many out there. each chef list's changes in each of their build's as best as they could as far i know. I typically don't release a rom publicly then release it again with a few gimmicks here and there...i like to keep it simple and let the end user add what they want.
