Di I need to be sim unlocked?

I am travelling outside US, and want to use a local gsm sim card in my TP2. Do I still need to do a sim unlock, or is that only for US networks?

I believe your TP2 would work overseas without the sim unlocker from cmonex and olipro. The sprint tp2 is locked from using U.S. gsm towers. Only if you are going to use GSM in the states do you need the sim unlocker.
