Well...I don't use max manila. Nor did I realize I had a "rain app" So sorry if I was a little confused

what do you mean by interferes with your bg?

What does it do mess it all up?

when the rain animation comes on, the background goes almost black, until the wiper animation runs and then fades to your background, this cab gets rid of the black background.

Here is something I did to eliminate the black screen... See attached pics of before and after... The after is a bit transparent to allow your BG to be seen and then it fades away with the wiper...

I can provide the Manila file if anyone is interested...

it uses your wallpaper instead of using its own wallpaper for when it rains.

It's white with some transparency... I believe your BG will still be visible from behind... I haven't been able to really test since we haven't had any rain... If it's not good enough, I can increase how transparent the the image is...

Either way, I think it will be better than the all black...
