So my charging rate is only 430 Ma instead of 800......... Anyone know of a fix???

That's weird. Doesn't the wall charger charge at 1A instead of 800mA?

I remember seeing a regedit to make the USB charging 1A for PC's, maybe this will help you.

Also, how do you know it's charging at 430mA? Do you have an app that shows? I'd like to know what I'm charging at.

this will show you what ya need. And it charges off the wall at like 800 + and 430 or so in the pc........ I hard reset, reflashed and still get the pop up as its recognizing it as a pc...... Wierrrrrddd...

I wonder is this gonna be the TP2 issue. I have a friend that just had to gte a new phone as a result of this.

maybe, cause Ive tried everything and cant get it to stop recognizing as a pc.........

It may have to do with pin connections on your USB cable. Maybe not though. Try a different cable yet?

Bummer! Is it the wall charger that came with it? I asume so. I never use mine, as I have a wall battery only charger and 3 batteries.

yea, its two OEM chargers and a extra UsB and nothings working.......

Now I need fast charge cause replacing Ill have to send in since I bought it online.......

Well, I flashed back to stock rom and no dice. Now the darn thing wont charge period from the wall.

Now itll only charge via PC...... SO I called and ordered a new one, on the way.... :( I hope the next one is a good one.

Yep... exact thing that happened to her. It would only pop up the box on the wall charger at first and only charge from the pc.. then after a day or two it wouldnt recognize the wall charger at all. Probably gonna have to swap it out.

Thanks man, Thats exactly whats happening, I already got a replacement in route.

Im flashed back to stock, now making sure I got the right Radio then Shes getting Locked. Im sad, I have a good one too, No stuck or dead pixels (although unless I see in normal use I dont care,) and the tilt as stiff as a board after 2 months..... O'well, Lifes a B%%%%%%%%

Having a similar problem here, only my phone is recognizing the charger as tv out. Even after unplugging it randomly pops up tv out screen.

this popping up stuff isnt cool, if its like mine itll stop charging via wall period after 2 days......

hey man i just made a post sorta related to this none of my chargers are working and some of the pop up as if i were syncing it. i only have one of my 5 chargers even charge the thing, car charger doesnt work either. went to sprint today and they just gave me a charger they found that worked.

sounds just like mine........... Now itll only charge via pc.......... Tell them it wont charge on the car, that theres enough to get a replacement.......

hmm I doubt it will be, as theres thousands of members out there between here and xda and Ive only came across the the couple people here, and the tmobile tp2 has been out for almost 4 months now......

Just got a bad one outta the batch....

no, my wife has a tp2 and her charger didnt workk either, either did my old tp1s, got a new phone on the way, charging via PC till then.......

o well lifes a hoo haa
