Depends what you want to do???? I like the obvious ones
- google maps
- pandora
- facebook
- myspace
also have a few others like blutooth scanners, sms spam, blutooth spam, galarm, gpstoday, guitar tuner, locate caller, midomi, my mobiler, outlook cleaner, smartlyrics, the channer, there is all kinds of stuff out there man....

So you have no idea what you need/want other than you want apps.. I suggest a google app and nothing else til you identify your needs.

I guess I gotta tip my hat those marketing monkeys then. A few of the ad campaigns going on right now are all about the 'apps', tons of apps.. there's an app for that, and on and on. What surprised me is how successful those ads have been.

Take the OP here. The ads did the magic and somehow that buzzword 'apps' went in his unprotected glossies or hearing flaps and now he's hooked. He doesn't know what apps there are out there, but goddammit, boy is he ever salivating for some. Not out of need! Oh, nosiree. Because he thinks he is missing out on something. That 'apps' are Pokemon and by gum, we need to install 'em all.
Some of the more important ones are naturally only found on the prestigious iphone: like the babyshaker game or the must-have 'coin-flip' app to help retarded AT&T subscribers with the more challenging decisions they face in life.. so long as it isn't a choice like going to a more sensibly priced service plan. I think the istore built in a self delete function if you ask your iphone that.

But seriously, it is a phone. Not a magic 8-ball keychain. First thing you have to ask is what do you want it to do for you? Post#2 had some helpful suggestions that I am sure you immediately googled to see what they do. If you have never heard of myspace.. Good!
