i need some serious help
 

may i start off by saying happy thanksgiving all... hope all is well.

im really new to this whole manilla thing but i want to customize my home screen... im totally lost though. i have the AT&T tilt 2 stock... nothing done to it. if someone can give me the rundown on how to do things id appreciate it...

thanks,,, but all this is like chinese to me.. i would like to change my TF3D layout and stuff like that... but i dont understand the manilla thing haha... helppp

manila is TF3D.
What are you looking to do? Different clock? Adding weather to the home tab clock? Changing the slider? Wallpaper? All the above?
Most of these MODs are made into an installable file in the .cab format.
Just remember to disable TF3D before installing a mod. Also remember to soft reset after an installation.

yes all of the above haha... i have the touch pro 2. so i would just download one of the mods, extract it anywhere on the phone, disable tf3d then wallah?

Depending on what themes you want, go to the themes section, or check the touch pro 2 tips, tweaks,etc thread.

Download the .cab file and move it into your phone (main memory or storage card is fine). Then use file explorer on your phone and open the .cab file.
Download to main memory if it's a theme and then soft reset your phone.

Changes will be seen after you soft reset. Do NOT disable tf3d unless you don't want tf3d at all.

I always had better luck disabling TF3D, then installing the cab, soft resetting, then re-enabling TF3D.

To get what is called the weather clock requires you to unlock your phone (HardSPL) and flash a different ROM to your phone. This will replace all the info on your phone. So if you do that be sure to backup all your mail, contacts, calendar items, notes, tasks and files with Active Sync (Mobile Device Center if your PC has Vista or Win 7).
Most other mods you can just download the cab file to your computer or directly to your phone and install the .cab file. If you are changing to a different mod of the same type (clock, etc...) uninstall the old one first and soft reset before installing the new one.

ok... lets try this... i want to put this theme on my phone... what would be the steps... keep in mind its a gsm tp2 straight outta the box.
