my question is if is possible to get a htc touch pro 2 working with metropcs with internet and especially instant messager ...
i live in new york and i cannot find metropcs flash service so where can i buy a touch pro 2 working with metro pcs :scratch: can somebody here unlocked for me ill pay

Get one from craigslist, and then goto metro pcs for flashing. You have to read up on where to go though.

It will not work for metro in new york, that area is AWS coverage only and the touch pro 2 is CDMA Dual Band, you would need a CDMA tri-band phone to work for metro in new york.

metro is stupid for not being consistant with its supported bands because people travel damn it! but oh well take your tp2 to page plus you get verizon coverage! for 39.99 a month! and all you gotta do is buy the card and upload a verizon prl to get it going! I did it to my touch pro2 and it works fine
