If I connect something like that to the miniusb port of the phone and connect a flash drive to it, will it read it?

If not, is it at all possible to connect a USB flash drive to a TP2?

bet it needs drivers. on another topic, supposedly there is going to be an "XP phone" coming out that runs windows xp and it will have full usb ports

This will not work for the TP2 right now. What you want to do is use your TP2 as a USB host so it can read a USB drive. They have a cab that activates this in some winmo phones but it hasn't been setup for the TP2 yet.

Hopefully some folks at xda can figure out how to activate it for the tp2, cause what you want to do sounds cool.
