ok u.s cellular is going to have a four day sale and you can get a tp2 with new 2 year agreement for 79.99 thats right 80 bucks and to be honest they have some really go service i couldn't be happier with them.

Yes, it is $69.95 and then $150 ETF. Also Yes, it does have a SIM card slot and will USE SIM Cards.

I heard that the phone is free and my co worker just picked his up. He got billed but will get that credited back to him when he goes in Friday - Monday.

I am doing mine all via phone, they told me they honor instore deals, due to some people live too far away. As I have stated previously Sprint SUCKS in my area and Verizon and US Cellular pwn. If I don't get the "free" US Cellular Phone tomorrow, I am rolling with a droid.

Yup. Sprint will not let any phones they (or their resellers) don't sell on their network.

If you have a radio unlocked CDMA phone you can take it to any carrier except Sprint.

They are out here in GB, WI too, only had 3 at the store, I waited outside for 40 minutes. I got lucky. I got even more lucky when the girl lightly dropped the tp2 on her desk from 3 inches ( yeah nothing ) and gave me a $30 dollar credit on my account there..

I made $30 by getting the tp2... crazy.

If you're worried about bringing a non-Sprint TP2 over to Sprint, then just clone a Sprint branded data-capable phone so you get past the activation. Just remember that TEP won't protect you and Sprint stores won't repair you.

Look at the instructions for cloning Sprint TP's and TP2's to MetroPCS and Cricket. The process is same, just need the right details to plug into the devices. =)
