Sprint $199.99 TP2 Success!
I have a Touch Pro. I want a Touch Pro 2. I have read online that Verizon has the Touch Pro 2 for 199.99 with 2 year agreement and that Sprint was price matching. This is the convo that I just had with Sprint. Hope this helps.

Actually OP, if you read the transcript, you will see that they only offered to take $100 off. They did the same thing with me. You are going to get billed $250, if I'm not mistaken. Still a great deal.

Ugh I hate you all. I just paid $450 + tax, still have to send in the $100 rebate. I talked to telesales and retentions and then finally the store, they all had the same price.. What can I do at this point to get credited the difference?

I got a different deal recently through some emails to sprint. After going back and forth a few times, a sprint rep offered me $20 off my bill for 24 months if I buy the phone at the normal price and sign a two year agreement. Better deal in the long run since they will be paying me $130 to buy the phone after all is said and done.
My roomate who had a touch pro 1, was able to get this same deal after 3 or 4 calls to retentions. |

ahh, you should of called them, I upgraded for free...well it was a $2.50 charge..I caled them and said my kb was broken and that I knew it was a problem with these phones so the lady read me off a list of phones I can get to replace them including a refurb tp and a pre, etc..and I flipped out on her and was like why would I want a refurb tp when I bought mine brand new and ur gonna try to get rid of me with a fn pre..i asked to speak to her supervisor 3 times and they wouldnt get on the phone, so finally after the 3rd time that she came back on the phone after me arguing she said gimme ur cc info and well ship u the tp 2..I got it 2 days later now just have to mail back my tp so they can use it for refurb, the kb actually does work off and on..

12/08/2009I mean anyone can get a tp2 for free if u have a tp, just call and keep complaining and arguing until they budge. they want to get rid of tp's thats why they wanna replace them with a refurb but with all the knowledge I know from this site and xda I was able to talk myself into a free one. |
