Shut off apps in TP2
 

Sorry for the noob question... I remember a setting or a program that I used on my TP1 that would shut down open apps when you tapped the "x" in the upper right hand corner as opposed to switching apps. I can't remember if this was a htc setting or a program that allowed you to make this a setting. Can someone please remind me how to do this? Thanks.

start> settings> all settings> system tab> task manager> button tab.

The easiest way for me is slide the "slider" on Touch Flo to settings then hit the ALL SETTINGS. In there go to System>Task Manager>Button In there you can find the End programs by tapping "x" or End program by tapping and holding "X"

In addition I would also suggest looking into the following apps :
QuickMenu
Showcase
Wisbar (Paid app $)


They all add additional functionality to the X button in addition to doing many other functions that make handling apps easier.

I personally have used Wisbar for years but it doesn't work with new 6.5.3 custom roms.

Ya, it does. But I was probably typing at the same time as you and I am just too lazy to delete it lol
