SMS/MMS sent notification
 

Just got my Touch Pro 2 from Verizon! Totally rocks! I'm even pretty pleased with the stock rom Only thing driving me crazy, and i cant figure out is the SMS/MMS message sent notification!!!

I downloded a cab, tried registy editing etc and still nothing... All the post i see are about the big messge sent notification window. the messages sent im getting is a little window that pops up and says message sent. you have to click "ok" in the corner or wait for it to just goes away in a few secs. I do a lot of text messaging and its really annoying! Ive tried to do a lot of search for a solution but can find it!

do a search for hd tweak, that program is a must. i don't know if you had a diamond or tp1 but its the same program just updated for wvga devices. the option to turn off sms sent notification is there, plus many more options you will like.

Thanks guys, i tried both of these already and advanced config. Its not the normal sms notification you change with these tweaks or in the registry key i know.

Maybe its a Verizon thing. but i have looked allllll over for this! anyone else have some ideas!?

I tried every fix listed at least three times & I could NEVER get rid of that damn message 100% in my Verizon TP2 (some of the fixes worked temporarily, but eventually the message would always reset itself).

I finally got rid of it 100% when I unlocked the phone & flashed to a custom ROM.

It's on Sprint too - clrearly HTCs lack of usability testing...

Sad to hear you couldn't get it fixed either!


all the registry, hacks, and WM options are only for the big messages sent notification that slides up from the bottom.

This is just a little pop up window that you can even drag and drop around. has a little ok button in the corner of the window. Would be great to figure it out! Thanks again for all the help!

On Mighty's ROM the SMS is disabled automatically, but the MMS sent noticiation still remains.

Flashing to Mighty's ROM will at least fix the MMS issue.

But if someone has a fix for the annoying MMS sent notification, then please share :)

have you tried this edit ? :

change value from 0 to 1

worked for me
