removing screen protector
was wondering about my screen and removing the phantom skinz.
quick background... i installed it last night, then had to peel it off to realign it. but now thinking about getting a hard surface/smoother one. anywho, while peeling it off last night i noticed that it pulls a good amount on the surface of the phone to where the top layer (of the phone) looked like it was going to tear, i even got that nice "rainbow" effect that we were getting on our TPs. that went away quickly. but it made me wonder if my screen could take another "peeling of the skinz"? thanks, -u |
Re: removing screen protector
You can try peeling it over boiling water or kettle. The hot steam should help loosen the adhesive. Just don't drop it if you're gonna do it over boiling water or you'll end up with a Touch Pho 2.

Re: removing screen protector
I'd not do it over the steam as it will turn your water indicators.
