vito SMS-Chat & new 6.5 ROM's??

I have use SMS-Chat since my xv6800 days & I absolutely love it.

It worked great in my TP2 with the stock ROM & with Mighty.

Now, running either Juicy or NRG it doesn't work right.

It installs fine & seems to work, but the messages it sends are never received (incoming texts work just fine).

Does anybody know what the problem might be here??

I've heard good things about SMS-Chat.

Could you post a link? I tried searching but did not find one.

All the Best!

I believe that both - Juicy and NRG are using Manila 2.5 which has a problem with SMS/MMS. Stock and Mighty ROMs are using 2.1 Manila.

The problem is with MMS, regular texting (SMS) works fine.

I did get MMS working also, I just can't get SMS-Chat to send anything although it receives messages just fine..

It is related to manila 2.5, when I was running Mighty ROM SMS-Chat worked just fine...

I am not having any problems. I using juicy atm, I installed followed the steps to disable the HTC messaging. It would never let me use the stock WM one afterwords and so I installed SMS chat, glad I did, forgot how much I liked it!

yea, like I said it worked fine using mighty ROM.

It is only with any manila 2.5 ROM's that it doesn't seem to work right.

Are you saying Vito SMS-Chat works fine for both sending & receiving with a Juicy ROM in a TP2 with no delay?? (nobody else has been able to get it to work with a 2.5 ROM)

Which Juicy version are you running??
