tweak: make Talk button to rotate screen landscape ?
 

Hi guys, i know there was a posting to make assign talk button press and hold will rotate your screen to landscape mode.

i know you have to to a reg edit before you can assign the talk button but i just can't find that reg edit ??

like garmin or igo8 when i place my phone on my new car holder i use to press and the talk button to rotate the screen.

Any help ?

1) Change your registry to enable screen rotation:
HKLM - System - GDI - Rotation - HideOrientationUI (Change from 1 to 0)

2) Then, simply map your phone button long press to the rotation tweak:
Settings -> Buttons -> Map with <Rotate Screen>

3) When you would like to rotate your screen, just hold your Phone button.

found my own answer lol

Here's the reg edit you make to get Garmin to auto rotate.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\M oduleName
Add: Name: Garmin Mobile XT String: \Garmin\Que.exe

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\W hiteList
Add: Name: Garmin Mobile XT String: QUE_SUBAPP_WND_CLASS

Soft reset and your set to go.

use this cab to assign your long press end key under button settings, or just use voice command and say rotate screen after you install this cab.... I take no credit for this cab......
