Internet not working on a TP2 I received from a friend.. it has JUICY R3
 
I just got this phone yesterday from a friend. The internet has not worked all day. I connected it Sunday at around 3pm, and they said it might take a few hours. Its been 12 hours and the internet will not work. I am getting the error67, and also the #777 error. I was reading that i cannot let them know I have a different ROM on the phone or they cancel warranty or w/e.. I was reading about the different codes to put in to edit the PRI and MSL or something like that. Anyways, some please help me as I live on my phones internet all day. Thanks!

you need to update your vision profile
install this cab
then install this cab
then go to start>settings>system>update profile and allow it to do its thing

I did all three things.. still nothing.. although when I tapped UPDATE PROFILE, nothing really happened..

Did it work when your friend had it? if yoru friend flashed the ROM, then your friend probably knows why it isn't working.

Maybe go back to the stock ROM and see if it works. If it doesn't, then at least you can get Sprint to fix/exchange it or whatever. If it does, then you can either keep the stock ROM or try flashing another.

Ill ask him tomorrow, if he doesnt know, Im just going to try and start flashing ROMS. I cannot go to sprint for help with the phone as long as it another ROM besides the stock one, correct?

Yeah, you want the stock ROM if you are taking the phone into a Sprint store for help, definitely.

So i went back to stock ROM and updated the PRL and everything.. and it worked.. THANKS EVERYONE!
