Need HELP with Data for Metropcs on TP2!!!
 

Hope someone can help me out. I flashed Mighty and also Energy ROMs but can't seem to get the data to work on this phone.

I have already tried to do the following:

##778 settings in the back end are all done properly. Done this for TP1 several times.

Deleted these from the registry on phone:

HKLM/Services/**File was either HTC GUardian or CMGuardian..don't remember since I deleted..

HKLM/Software/HTC/CM_Guardian_Services**Everything that was in this folder

I did the right data settings under connections for Metropcs...done this for TP1 many times.

The proxy settings stick no problem with the wap.metropcs.net:3128, except for the Secure which is wap.metropcs.net:443

The problem is when you try and access the internet, you can see the arrows for a couple seconds, then they disappear and then the login screen shows up again with Username and password.

The username is: 10digit number@mymetropcs.com as usual
PW: metropcs

Hit save or finish and usually you are good to go!!!

Everytime I try and access data that pop up screen shows up. What other Stock Sprint files are there that are preventing me from using Metropcs settings?

Any help would be great: been trying to get this working for a week now. I decided to finally put a post to see if I can get the PROS to help.

There is a Thread from 2 months back that explain in detail unlocking the Pro 2 for use on the Metropcs network!

I have been through those threads already. I have flashed hundreds of TP1 and put internet and picture text and they all have that variant of guardian file.

This time my phone just wont work!!!

I know the two locations as listed above to delete the guardian file and it still will not run data.

My last possible issue....my phone I unlocked for the sim slot...could it be messing with it since I want it to run on CDMA even though we can choose which network to work off of?

That's all I could think of....

Anyone have any suggestions other suggestions...

I have been able to get internet working on my other friends TP2 already, but mine wont work still...is it because I did an ESN rescue... perhaps??

Did you go into the ##778# settings and change everything there? i have touch pro 2 on metropcs working perfectly pm me
