How to change default web browser?
 

Hey guys, I just downloaded Opera Mobile 10 and I love it. I wanted to know if I could change the default browser on my Sprint Touch Pro 2 to version 10 and also if I'm able to change the web browser tab on the Touch Flo screen to Opera 10.

you can change it through the registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\DEFBROWSER and change it to where the file is

I tried this and it didn't work. I even rebooted. Any ideas?

where is your Opera10-armv4i.exe located??

this is how to change settings for the phone...in this case this will change the default browser to opera!!

You need a registry editor program, to find that particular registry entry to change (it works just like windows xp/vista/7). PHM registry editor is a good free one.

it should be in "program files/opera mobile 10"

k thats what i thought...and in the registry where i told you to change it you put "Program Files\opera mobile 10\Opera10-armv4i.exe" with the quotes??

if not that is what is needed to be there for it to work!!

Opera 10 is my default browser for links in email etc. but how do I change it for touch flo 3d tab?
