What does it mean when people say landscape doesn't work with manila 2.5?
 

I am currently using MightyROM because it uses sense 2.1 and I read that 2.5 doesn't support landscape. Does that mean that when I am in a tab that doesn't support landscape and slide my keyboard out, it'll stay in portrait?

If that's what it means, does it look strange?

When you open the keyboard while running Manila or Sense 2.5, then your screen will go black until you close up the phone. Landscape will work on pictures and music tabs I think, but not with anything else. Oh wait, landscape works in 2.5's texting mini-app too.

The rest of the phone will still landscape, but Sense 2.5 won't.

Hmm, I only really use landscape for texting/email and internet.

I may consider giving 2.5 a try

it's def worth a try, i've been using 2.5 for about a month now and love it.. it really only goes blank when you open the keyboard while in manilla(not in the sub-parts..i.e text, messaging..contacts. -these work fine). you probably won't even run into this problem because where the screen blacks out are places that you don't need the keyboard out anyway....just keep in mind that these 2.5 roms were made for a phone on the market, so everything does work
