Just wondering if there;s a cab/fix to make the top and bottom bar transparent for 6.1(alike the no curtain cabs)?
thanks

I've seen it skinned in EnergyROMs with different background pictures, but I don't think the possibility of transparency is there for the Start or menu bars.

You can use HDwall to make the taskbar and softkeys transparent!

Really, it depends on what rom you are running. There are multiple ways to achieve what you are after. If people state what rom they are running, it makes it easier to supply a proper .cab or tweak, for their desired results.

If you mean the actual place where the start menu icons and the bottom soft keys are, then there's no way to make them exactly transparent in touch flo 3d. In WM 6.5 they are transparent. However, there is a cheat for touchflo 3d that you can use to make them fit the upper and lower parts of your wallpaper. The only thing is this means the upper and lower bars will be like the top of your wallpaper in every program. You can see my screen is like that.

The best way to do it is with HDWalls. The newest version is great. Go to config and pick the type of manila you have, then pick advanced profile editor and click wm 6.5 taskbar and softkeybar skinning. Then pick whatever you want.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time!! From what people have told me is you can not do this with 6.1 rom you need 6.5 rom. Correct me if I am wrong anyone cause if I am then i am all over this!! Let me know if you get this to work for ya damant!! I would really like to hear if you succeed!! One of the things I have tried is UItweaker which isnt the easiest thing to work with. Infact I am currently looking for a step for step guide for this program so I can change the colors of my taskbars. Goodluck
P.S. these are some links that I have started for the same question.
