[Sprint SERO Plan] Internet stopped working
 

I'm on the SERO plan and I had the HTC TP2 for a month now. The internet's been fine until today. I called up sprint and they said since I'm on the SERO plan I need to speak with a "special" technician team to catch frauds or w/e. I don't have any relatives or friends that work for sprint so basically they will find out.

That I'm a "fraud" since I don't have any relatives or friends that works for sprint and I'm on the SERO plan. So how do I get this damn internet to work again without contacting sprint

That doesnt matter and its not fraud. Just call *2 and follow the prompts for getting data tech support.

I don't think fraud has anything to do with it. Plus, they honestly do not care about you, 1 person, on SERO. You are already on it.

Usually, tech support has to go to a specific department for SERO users, and that is probably what they meant. I'm sure you are fine..

Just messing with you.SERO was open to the public for a while,enrollment was closed down during the summer of 2009.
When ever I have a tech problem I call *2 and get help with no problem,other than the hold time it all works out!

sero as it was, is closed. but something like is still out there. but no the killer deal it was. but if you use the phone a lot, still a killer deal..

i chatted with sero / everythingplus people today...

needed to upgrade my mogul.. was not an issue on my old sero 30 program..


that was what the site says plus i got an extra 100 off. for service and a coupon.

droid adapters not going to be so lucky. :(

now if you got your phone from ebay,, well know issue..

for me the service stays the same..

Yea I have SERO too, the TP2 is probably the best phone you can get and still keep the original SERO. The folks at sprintusers.com are real helpful when it comes to finding deals for SERO people, they have an entire forum dedicated to SERO related stuff. The folks at slickdeals.net were helpful too, I was able to keep my SERO 500 plan ($30/mo) get a $70 service credit and the "not all that great new customer price" for the TP2 ($350). Seems like Sprint is leaning towards locking SERO customers out of all the good phones... my BIGGEST FEAR is the HTC HD2 coming to Sprint and not being SERO compatible!!!

i think they are hard at work keeping people from porting sero.. to some extent i cant blame them for that..

but i rarely use over 150 min.. texts the same. data, yea i use some.. so i got no guilt at 30 bucks a month..

but after shopping and helping a friend that was getting raped by verison, well saved her 40 bucks a month.. on the new semi sero plan.

i ended up with 249 for my phone.. which for what i think the phone is going to be is great. as i paid 299 for the mogul.. which still does a great job for me..

Yea I think I'll end up on the "not as good" SERO at the end of my contract if I can't get anything good to upgrade my TP2. I rarely use the voice part of my phone, most use by me is using texts and messaging services online. Even with the bigger screen I still find web browsing leaving something to be desire.

But for those on SERO worried about calling customer service, don't worry, SERO was made available to the public so you didn't need to know a Sprint employee. The only issue you'll encounter is you sometimes I have make sure you talk to a rep that knows what SERO is, because apparently it's a different account system than regular sprint customers.

I'm on the old SERO, & used the net all night, so it is prob on your end. But just *2 or reprovision yourself. You should be fine.
