Re: Orb On TP2

I cant get it to work. i try to stream live tv using opera mobile 9.5, and it requests me to save, or open a stream.asx I chose to open it and it freezes up my phone.

EDIT - it has to do with coreplayer

works with media player, but no video, just audio right now...hmmm

EDIT#2 - http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=195325

got it working. still choppy(i'm looking for a fix) but works good. need to change the orientation in the TCPMP to lefthanded.

Re: Orb On TP2

Gave up on orb, use mytinytv.com if you just want to stream live TV. I if you have a router you might have to fwd some ports but its works perfect

Is there a way to get the mobile version of the orb to display on the tp2?

Try Kinoma FreePlay for (IMHO) the best Orb experience on mobile. It's free.

Re: Orb On TP2

Orb works perfectly with my TP2 using TCPMP and the Winamp stream option in Orb. Audio, Video, and TV works well. Here is the steps I used to get it working:

1. Use the "recomp-03" TCPMP here (or just google TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03).

2. Download "WM5 WMV9 Codecs.zip" here and put the two .dll files into the Windows directory on your TP2.

(maybe soft reset at this point? i can't remember)

3. In TCPMP, under the DirectDraw settings make sure "Use blitting instead of overlay" is checked. Under file association settings make sure PLS is checked.

4. In Orb, go into settings and change stream to use Winamp (.pls).

You may need to tweak the manual A/V offset under advanced settings in TCPMP if it is out of sync.

You need to go to Orb.com forums for that question..Has nothing to do with your phone.
