Alot of Memory being used up!!!
 

I am running energy ro build 21864 and i wanted to know if it was normal to be using up between 81% and 91% of memory even with all applications closed..even if i soft reset it will stay between those numbers,,,any way i can free up some memory

energy is a pretty loaded rom...doesn't really surprise me that a lot of memory is taken up. if you want low memory usage, try a more bare rom like jd or mighty

Search this forum for "resproxy". To turn it off you can set these:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ResProxy]
"ShareMemSize"=dword:00000000
"MaxShareMemSize"=dword:00000000

but search on the term first so you understand what's going on.

im running energy rom and im stayin in the 47% to 50% range so its not the rom itself, did you hard reset after flashing the rom? i had a bunch of issues and had to hard reset after flashing the rom to fix them.

As long as you don't get up to close to 100% memory usage, why be concerned?

or maybe a better question, how high can the memory usage be before you start seeing sluggish performance?
