Keeping Sprint Tethering Stealthy
I was hoping someone could clarify the "stealth" issues surrounding tethering, particularly on Sprint. My understanding is that tethering is tracked via a driver installed by sprint on the phone, only affecting the ICS tool. So I can install the stealth cab to get around it - but this is only necessary if using ICS. If I use PDAnet do I still need thsi?

Re: Keeping Sprint Tethering Stealthy
try using mightys rom it has been fixed for "stealth tethering"

Re: Keeping Sprint Tethering Stealthy
sprint users don't need to worry because this driver doesn't work with the hardware.

Re: Keeping Sprint Tethering Stealthy
I am also looking for a Stealth Tethering tool for the Sprint Touch Pro 2 (TP2). I am unable to install a non Sprint ROM for business reasons. I am stuck with Sprint original software until they update WM6.1. Does anyone know any software that will allow one or two days of Tethering per month without a large fee envolved? Thanks.

This should work on the stock TP2 rom.
There are cabs as well for using the default Internet Sharing app. Alternatively you could look at PDA Net if you want to use something else: http://www.junefabrics.com/pdanet/index.php |
