Sprint SIM Unlocker question

I have unlocked the SIM on my phone, installed the Sprint radio. I was finally able to get my hands on a sim card (other than the included Sprint one), I tried a tracfone one and it did not work at all. It said a sim card was not present. Is this a known issue with tracfone sim cards?

Yes, from my experience and from what I've seen Tracfone SIM cards only work on tracfone phones. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

yes, you're right. tracfone and net10 both will only work with their own branded phones

Thanks for the info. Now I have to find someone with a SIM card other than those so I can verify this is working correctly.

i tested with a friend's at&t sim with no issues

I guess they are considered "locked" SIMs
