Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

I used to be able to display both the battery icon and the time on my Treo 800w. On the TP2 you can either only display one or the other. Is there a way to display both??

what I do is set the clock to always display & then run the dci battery gauge across the top of the screen.

I've been wanting this as well. It's a pain while you're on a call to have to go back to the home screen just for the time. The 23xxx builds have both though because they moved the start menu button to the bottom. Still we have a lot of free space left over on the start menu bar of our 21xxx builds.

I'm not sure why but on my stock rom when i selected 'show time in all programs' it would show time when using programs but when i was using touch flo it would show the battery. this was perfect for me but now i select it, it shows the time even in touch flo ): it's especially dumb on the home screen. why would i want to see the time twice?

HTC TF3 screws up the default behavior of the clock and battery. I recommend the attached program - Batti. Batti is a customizable battery meter that displays on the top of the screen. Works really well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Im assuming there's like no registry tweak that would enable both on the taskbar though?

So was I. I contacted HTC and they said, "By design."

I used the suggested Ariel Battery app. Plus who can resist an app that was named for their son? :) Awwww.

Would this work on Sprint phones? I guess there's no reason it wouldn't

I used to have the same setup and loved it. I have been hunting for a good 6.5.1 ROM ever since the unlocker was released and I think I've finally found one I can use with Caulkin's precooked ROM.

It should work for Sprint. It's not carrier based and it's customizable, I changed the colors to match my blue theme. You can change the colors to match yours :)

i liked this app, but i have a couple problems with it.
a) i wish, while it covers the start menu icon, it still worked as a start menu... i'm used to just pressing the top left corner to open it
b) cleanram kills the process and you have to manually restart it

With the TP2, I've never used the Start icon or menu from the taskbar. I just use the Windows hard key now to bring up the Start launcher. But that might be a suggestion to pass along to the dev of the app, to add Start menu functions.

I use CleanRam, but I only use just Level 2 Purge and it stays on for me. Does it kill the process with the level 1 or 3 purge?

i've only ever tested with lv3 and it kills the app... that's probably why

Hmm, interesting. Just tested CleanRam all levels, and the battery mod still stays on for me.

And VistaHide Battery Gauge looks like a color bar on the top of the screen above the taskbar.

You can move it left or right... I just moved it to be over the stock battery and I changed the color scheme.
I love this thing.
I used link creator and put a link in my start menu and my startup folder.

I don't text but I have noticed some landscape lag. I didn't realize VistaHide was causing it.

I'm trying out Batti now because it's basically the same thing as VistaHide with the same 0 CPU usage. I like that it comes as a CAB and starts itself automatically so I don't have to create a shortcut manually. I remember using it before but dumped it because I didn't need all of the extra functionality it has. I'm not noticing any lag with it. The only quirk I've seen is upon switching to landscape, the meter is too short, but after a few seconds it extends across the screen.

Create a shortcut and then cut/paste it to Windows/Startup.

batti seems to be working great and no sign of lag. that minor bug doesn't bother me whatsoever. i reduced its size to 1px, though but that's the great thing about customizability!

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?

The lag with vista-hide is a well known problem, it has been posted here before.

I use the DCI batt gauge which does basically the same thing & causes no lag whatever. This is a very simple light weight app (no options) that simply works great.

Does Batti 2.4 work with 1% battery icon's, like Fnixover's and such? I like being able to see 1% increments at a glance rather than clicking on the icon to see.

Hmmm, I think I like this one more than Batti because I'm looking for simple. Thanks.

Here is the cab for anybody who needs it.

I have used both this & Batti & I much prefer this as I could care less about all the Batti options.
