Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?
I used to be able to display both the battery icon and the time on my Treo 800w. On the TP2 you can either only display one or the other. Is there a way to display both??

what I do is set the clock to always display & then run the dci battery gauge across the top of the screen.

I've been wanting this as well. It's a pain while you're on a call to have to go back to the home screen just for the time. The 23xxx builds have both though because they moved the start menu button to the bottom. Still we have a lot of free space left over on the start menu bar of our 21xxx builds.

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?
I'm not sure why but on my stock rom when i selected 'show time in all programs' it would show time when using programs but when i was using touch flo it would show the battery. this was perfect for me but now i select it, it shows the time even in touch flo ): it's especially dumb on the home screen. why would i want to see the time twice?

HTC TF3 screws up the default behavior of the clock and battery. I recommend the attached program - Batti. Batti is a customizable battery meter that displays on the top of the screen. Works really well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Im assuming there's like no registry tweak that would enable both on the taskbar though?

I used the suggested Ariel Battery app. Plus who can resist an app that was named for their son? :) Awwww.

a) i wish, while it covers the start menu icon, it still worked as a start menu... i'm used to just pressing the top left corner to open it b) cleanram kills the process and you have to manually restart it |

I use CleanRam, but I only use just Level 2 Purge and it stays on for me. Does it kill the process with the level 1 or 3 purge? |

And VistaHide Battery Gauge looks like a color bar on the top of the screen above the taskbar. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=281891 |

You can move it left or right... I just moved it to be over the stock battery and I changed the color scheme. I love this thing. I used link creator and put a link in my start menu and my startup folder. lol. p. ps... check out my screenshot. |

I'm trying out Batti now because it's basically the same thing as VistaHide with the same 0 CPU usage. I like that it comes as a CAB and starts itself automatically so I don't have to create a shortcut manually. I remember using it before but dumped it because I didn't need all of the extra functionality it has. I'm not noticing any lag with it. The only quirk I've seen is upon switching to landscape, the meter is too short, but after a few seconds it extends across the screen. Quote:

Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?
The lag with vista-hide is a well known problem, it has been posted here before.
I use the DCI batt gauge which does basically the same thing & causes no lag whatever. This is a very simple light weight app (no options) that simply works great. http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/o...creen01-53.png ~John |
Re: Is there any way to display both the battery icon and time in taskbar?
Does Batti 2.4 work with 1% battery icon's, like Fnixover's and such? I like being able to see 1% increments at a glance rather than clicking on the icon to see.
