HELP RhodiumW/Sprint/Verizon/Telus Touch Pro 2 CID/Security/SIM Unlocker PLEASE

Ok, I don’t understand what you can do with this. So maybe if I ask a few questions I will understand.

1, I am with Telus, so if I SIM unlock can I use rogers ?
2. I live right next to the USA and travel a lot into the USA, if I want to use GSM what would I have to do ?
3. Be honest, would I just be wasting my time doing this ?
4 If the answer to question 3 is no, then what is the advantage ?
5. Will this phone ever use Telus GSM ?

Thank You

I currently on the TELUS network using the HTC Touch Pro 2 with the OS and SIM unlocked.

1, I am with Telus, so if I SIM unlock can I use rogers ?
YES. I have used a iPhone FIDO SIM with DATA in the HTC Touch Pro and can jump from CDMA to GSM, but it can not recive CDMA and GSM at the same time. What I can't get working is the data part of the GSM.

2. I live right next to the USA and travel a lot into the USA, if I want to use GSM what would I have to do ?
You could be a GSM chip and slip in the back

3. Be honest, would I just be wasting my time doing this ?
MAYBE

4 If the answer to question 3 is no, then what is the advantage ?
Dependent on your use

5. Will this phone ever use Telus GSM ?
Not right now. The network Telus implemented is 850 & 1900 bands. The HTC Touch Pro 2 is 900/2100 MHz.

Would the GSM chip (SIM card) have to be from a US cell phone provider ?

Not necessarily, but it would make things cheaper I would imagine than using a non-US provider SIM and paying the roaming charges.
