Activesync Issue

I just got a new phone today (Touch Pro 2) and when i try to use google sync (in activesync) i get the following issue:

activesync support code 0x8600050c

If i choose not to sync with email, and just contacts/calendars, it works fine. But i don't see why it wouldnt sync with my mail since it has before on my old Touch Pro phone.

any ideas?

I'm getting this error on my Sprint Touch Pro 2, as well... I can sync contacts and calendar fine, but as soon as I enable email, I get the error.

nothing that is the entire error. it just wont sync gmail, which is odd, because it should.

Same here. Just swapped to Calk's new 6.5 rom for my diamond and I'm getting the same problem. Not sure if it's the rom though. Seems like quite a few other people are experiencing this on the google forum (and xda) as well. Hopefully it's a server issue that will be resolved soon.

Funny. I just decided to set this all up and go to sync and get this error. It is still in beta so I will just stick with imap for now. It syncs my calendar and contacts though.

On its' own? If not it's always worth explaining what you did to fix it....for future reference.

On it's own, I believe it was a server issue.
