REQUEST: Love ROMs But Hate To REFLASH on Every New Update **ROM TESTER QUESTION**
 

Hey Guys,
I’ll make this a quick question and I’m hoping there is a quick/easy answer. Currently I’m running the Juicy rom and I’m happy with rom. The only issue I have is that every time an “update” comes out I need to REFLASH to the new updated rom and reinstall and reset everything. (Example: Bookmarks, Contacts, Gmail Account Settings, Programs, Favorites Settings, Stocks Settings, Weather Settings, etc etc)

The question:
- Is there a program that can BACKUP/MIRROR EVERYTHING?

I currently use DASHWIRE for my contact/pictures and stuff but it would be nice if there a program and reinstalled everything else for you with a ONE click of the button especially since your only updating the rom version

Please link me if there is a program out there

full backup programs are generally not recommended because they backup your registry and settings also and you may be undoing some of the tweaks the chefs put into the rom...
you could try to use UC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337 (make sure you make all your cabs read-only, though)

Download "Microsoft My Phone" it sync contacts, calender, task, text messages, browser favorites, photos, videos, music, documents, and even sync storage cards to an server so once you have to hard reset your phone all your data is backed up.

I just used this a few moments ago to sync my data from a touch pro to the touch pro 2 I got from Assurion as an replacement.

The newest version of Sprite backup will work too if you are careful how you use it. google search and download the cab file. You can try it out for 10 days for free.
