i expect full reviews from u guys that bought the mounts with virtually no arm! i've bought a couple of the gooseneck types in the past and they all sucked or broke easily, so im gonna wait and see for a hands on opinion from u guys first... i think the most important part of the mount is the suction quality... please inform us if it actually sticks firmly and seems like its high quality.. one mount i tried before kept falling off at the suction! can't tell u how embarrassing it is for the entire mount with phone in it to fall into a passengers lap... thanks in advance!

once i get it, ill keep yall posted if its good or not

dave

what exactly do you mean by that? you mean to open the screen it rubs against the mount?

I think he means ( and i hope i'm right) that when the screen is slid up, the tilt feature is restricted a lil. I don't mind this because i don't think i will ever slide the keyboard out. if i want to slide the keyboard out and type, i'm almost certain i will just take it down and type my message.

I bought the one from buygpsnow.com and I love it, I had the same brand for my TP and it was also good. There is no shaking of the phone. There is no padding but I have been using it for a couple of weeks and have noticed no scratches.

Might I strongly attempt to dissuade anyone from using the type that walmart is selling. There are plenty of inexpensive mounts made specifially for our TP2. The Universals ones always break within a week, I have had 3 of them and will not buy another one again, I would rather throw my money at a rediculously priced pro clip, which isn't bad just expensive. Fortunately Haicom makes a great mount.

Well it's good I haven't bought any yet then. It looks to be the same phone holder as the 1st link from the OP but different neck. What broke on yours?

The tabs that hold the phone. Pretty much made it useless after that.

These ebay mounts are hit and miss.

I ordered this one and it works exactly as should, i love it. i can only use this in my jetta because it is a smaller car, in my suv its too far away for me to use this if i need to touch my phone for any reason.
