Jawbone 2 and Jawbone Prime will not hang up or initiate a call unless data is disconnected completely (not dormant), the screen is on, and the phone is unlocked. Voice Command works sporadically and has an extremely long delay when opening the channel.

I use a Motorola S9 HD & it seems to work perfectly with my Verizon phone.

I rarely use it for actual calls however, my main use of it is listening to music or Sirius....

Plantronics Voyager 850 won't hangup. Volume up/down local only, not controlling phone master volume. Everything else is fine (pairing, voice/sound quality, music, pause/play, voice control, etc.)

so have you tested it by making a 3 minute call and does it hang up or not?

Ford/Microsoft Sync does NOT end calls. Also will not allow you to call with the phone lock (not sure if that's intended).

BlueAntZ9i has no problems answering or hanging up.

Motorola MOTOROKR s305 is hit and miss. Have to press the end button several times on a call to hang up.

Voyager Pro will answer, volume up and down, and voice command is supported, albeit rather slowly and painfully (gotta jam on the button over and over again.) Hang up does not work though.

Re: Bluetooth headsets that do and don't work correctly with the Widcomm stack

Jabra BT8010 works, KIND OF, for the most part.

-Hanging up works, BUT the BT Stack always plays portions of the system sounds through the headset even if you don't have stereo headset OR play system sounds through headset checked, Turning off BT on the headset or phone cures this.

2009 BMW X5 does not hang up calls. When Bluetooth connects to car everything on the phone becomes very slow and unstable. This lasts for about 5 minutes and then you can use the phone handset to hang up calls

Land Rover BT is sloooow to respond - both answering or hanging up. My TP1 with the MS stack worked flawlessly. There's two Land Rover systems. The LR2 uses a Volvo BT system. All the others use a Jaguar system. Mine's the latter.

Blueant Q1 no issues. Voice command works fine.

Parrot MKI9200 in my 04 Land Rover will not hang up at the end of the call using the remote.

Re: Bluetooth headsets that do and don't work correctly with the Widcomm stack

The Moto S9 HD is hit or miss with calls. I do not rely on it at all and have resorted to taking calls via the phone itself. BT Stereo works flawlessly though.

Chrysler U-Connect (in 2009 Dodge Ram with RER radio):

Issues with initial pairing. Took 8-10 times to get it to pair. Once paired, I cannot reliably answer or hang-up calls. Audio is fine, if it does connect.

Malatesta 11-16-2009 11:37 PM

Re: Bluetooth headsets that do and don't work correctly with the Widcomm stack

BlueAnt V1 seems to work fine as well, fast pairing, good quality.
