Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
I have a BlueAnt SuperTooth 3, and have to hang up from the phone. It also sometimes connects, then immediately disconnects, when I first go to the car.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
My old Sony Headset is working pretty good. Except laggy Voice Command and it Won't always let me hang up from headset. But it has not disconnected or hungup on me. It does disconnect and reconnect when I make a call, but that's fine.
The Poll is a little course on the choices. I'd say "Yes, but with some bugs". |

if you use XDA as well, please post your responses there too:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...22#post4967122 Perhaps the ROM chef's might start to work on baking in MS Bluetooth instead |
Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
Should we start a new thread with features that don't work by device now that we see 3 out of four people are having problems?

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
Just wanted to report that I have A2DP issues with the Widcomm stack. My LG stereo BT headphones worked flawlessly (while doing exactly what I was doing below) with my Touch Pro (1 and Verizon at that!) and MS BT stack. I notice a lot more choppiness when running while listening to streaming audio and running a program that announces my statistics on my Touch Pro 2 even with an MM ROM. When the announcement voice is played, it causes my TCPMP audio to cut out and sometimes it even interrupts the stream (maybe that's just a radio issue though?).
Another nuisance is the message that I get about Widcomm not supporting the advanced functions of my headphones.... >bump to reverting back to MS BT stack BTW: somone should change the poll to include "Somewhat, it has bugs" |
Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
Would be good if, as we report the problems to HTC and carriers, that we include a link to this thread for impact.

Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
The 2 issues I have is probably what everyone else has...
1) End/Hangup key doesn't function. Not a huge deal on hanging up phone as when the other party hangs up, my Jabra Handfree speaker will disconnect after about 5 seconds. The big one tho is I am not able to trigger voice activated dialing. 2) When I turn on my Jabra, it's a crapshoot as to whether it will connect or not. It seems like if the phone's screen is off, the BT will not react and thus my Jabra will not connect. Even with the phone "awake" it still doesn't connect every time. This also holds true with my little BT doggle I have in my netbook. When I try to send a file to my phone, sometimes the phone will react and accept it and sometimes it just does nothing. Retrying eventually makes the phone react tho. |
Re: Poll: Does the current Widcomm Bluetooth stack work for you
Just figured it needed a bump since it is still an issue for many...
