JustGot to comment, wow this screen is amazingly responsive

When I got my TP2 I was not expecting much responsivness from the screen. After all i came from the TP and have really come to hate resitive touch screens. I really blown away buy how amazing the screen is. A friend of mine picked up the Droid and we were comparing, its almost as good as his, he didnt even know it was resistive until i told him.

yeah it's great. i only want capacitive for multi-touch gaming and i'm sure there are tons of apps that could use it as well... but i'm fine with the tp2 responsiveness

you guys only love resistive screen because winmo hasnt created a fully finger friendly os and alot of programs for winmo aren't finger friendly. Once all programs are finger friendly like the droids or iphone resistive screens are done. yeah you will miss little things like not being able to use notepad with a stylus but that is minor compared to the preciseness (if thats a word) that you get when using capacitive.

i may be dumb, but my daughter just told me her nintendo ds stylus is conductive and should work on a capcitive screen.
(not in those words, shes six.)

The DS stylus (like most) is made of plastic and will not work on a capacitive touch screen.

Edit: just to confirm this, I tried my DSi stylus on my Zune HD and it did not work.

anything you currently have in your home will not work as a stylus. Moral of the story, don't listen to 6yr olds :)

actually my friend, as i recall resistive screen are a more precise than that of a capacitive (which is why current it is a tad harder to hit smaller buttons on capacitive screens... which is why they have bigger buttons) but by all means correct me if i'm wrong! :thumbleft:

by the way... i have used capacitive phones and devices, and own a TP2... there is a slight noticeable difference in sensitivity, with capacitive being way better, but i dare not give up my stylus [-( haha

unfortunately he's right... on both points...

i just hope HTC can pull through with their new stylus design to work on capacitive's!
