Wake Up Button
 

Hi

Is there any aplication to wake up the TP2 by clicking a button (except the power) or tapping in the screen ?
It's annoyng press the power button to wake up the device

never heard of such a program but pulling out stylus and sliding out keyboard both awake screen.hope this helps.

Ya know, I was wondering the same thing. I just got a TP2 to replace my TP1 and with the TP1 there was a Keypress setting that offered an option to wake on Just the power button or any of the front buttons being pressed. This setting doesn't seem to exist ion the TP2. Of all the buttons, only the power button will wake the thing. I'd like to be able to press any of the 4 buttons on the bottom too, to wake it.

Soft reset, then it can be found @ Start->Settings->System->Keylock

Thanx Darkness231, this is exactly what I was looking for.

I wonder why they didn't include this in the base ROM. Handy option cause I hate having to always reach for the Power button.

Works great.
Now how do i get my phone to lock with the built in windows slide to unlock thing after a certain amount of time?

Update!
Ok so i used this program and the volume keys still adjusted volume even though the phone was locked. So... this wont really work.
I want the keys to wake up the device but not actually do what they are supposed to until the devices is unlocked.
Or something like that.

Unfortunately, that is the way the old option worked in the past. When you pessed a key, it not only woke up the phone, but activated the button too.

I just make it a habit of only pressing either the <- or the hang up button.

If you do come actoss something that just wakes things up without actually triggering the button action, post it her please. That would be something nice.

i wish it was like the hero where u press the home key when the screen was off and it woke up the phone.....
