Xbox Live app?
 

I was browsing through the various apps people have created and uploaded for Windows Mobile and couldn't help but think it would be kinda neat to have access to my Xbox Live accounts and acheivments as well as the lists of latest downloads etc. Now I know this is all available online already but an app not unlike the facebook.cab I've seen out there would be really cool. Not groundbreakingly useful, but cool.

Is there one out there I haven't found or would anyone else jump on the bandwagon of wanting one? It's beyond my current expertise but if there is a common desire for it...perhaps a guru will take up the cause!

*EDIT* Looks great. Can not get the "Home" ab to find my gamertag, although when I go to follow friends, I include my name and refresh it and it works for everyone. When trying to enter my own gamertag on the "Home" tab I come across this message everytime: "There was a problem connecting to the server, please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again."

I will try this out right now to let others know how nice it is. Will Edit this post in about 10 minutes...

I just tried the app and it wouldn't retrieve my gamertag info. Maybe the servers are still down ?

or maybe M$ is mad someone is making them look bad doing there job when they should have already made an xbox live app years ago so they trying to block the app kinda like google with onedialer for winmo or servers could really be down...ha

I really dont care what you say about my stats. I would like to see an xbox app as well thats the reason for my bump. im sorry my stats arent up tp your standards i have other things to do such as have a life.

I like the interface and not a boring squarish WM app I always see. I'm also getting the connection error.

Whoa, no need to get upset, he was just saying you shouldn't bump threads. At least put something like "I would like to see this as well."

Typing "bump" is making no effort and sometimes it really is annoying.

oh and i tried installing the app but it just says "installation unsuccessful" imediatly. I am using mightyrom anyone else having this problem

Xbox GamerTag works well. Problem is, and the author is aware of this, is it relies on a 3rd party server to retrieve information--if those goes down, so does the app and that is what happened here.

The author of the app is looking to get around that and luckily this isn't a common occurrence.
