wtf, shutting off the screen causes battery to drain FASTER?!

okay so I've been struggling with battery problems with my sprint touch pro 2 since day one. I've tried 3 different roms and I'm on my second device. wtf. Something I've noticed while using battlog is that when I press the button on top and the screen shuts off or when I let the screen shut off by itself, the mA drain actually goes UP! wtf? It'll go from 50-60ish to 160-200 and back down when I turn the screen back on... any ideas?

Something you have installed is likely the culprit. I tried out slide to unlock and teh power drain was so crazy it was mind boggling. Uninstalled it and back to normal which means I can go all day long listening to music, surfing, texting and still have over 50% left.

Try this registtry edit:
HKLM_LOCAL_MACHINE/Drivers/Builtin/PollingInterval, change default to, dword=25000
this helped somewhat on the TP1 and helped me immensely on the TP2

I do not have the s2u2 and I can't seem to find that registry entry... are you sure that's the address? My battery actually died while writing this lol.
