Sprint/Motorola iDEN SIM card in VZW TP2???
Does anyone know anything about these iDEN sim cards? I put it in my VZW TP2 and I can get the contacts but I can't get service.... yes my phone is SIM unlocked. I tried it with a buddies T-Mobile card and it connected right away and was able to make calls. I know that Sprint is CDMA also but my Motorola ic520 phone has a SIM card in it which it requires to operate so was wondering if perhaps this phone is GSM???? Any info would be great.... I would love to have my personal # and my work # on the same phone.

i believe that phone is one of sprint's "hybrids"... meaning it's made to run on both sprint's and nextel's networks (and nextel uses sim cards)
i don't think the tp2 is made for the iden network (this is mostly speculation) |

not possible. gsm and iden are completely different
