Soft case for TP2
 

I am looking for a soft case for my TP2. Something that will protect if from me dropping it and small scratches and knicks. But I would like a case that is very small and does not add much weight or size to the phone. I had a case for my TP and it got the job done but looked bad and made the phone too big. Anyone know where I can find somehting like this?

have not come across any hard cases tht dont add bulk or any silicone ones that are not linty and slippery

I too am having a time finding the just right case.

I think the inherant problem is to get one that truly protects it from shock, you get into some fairly ugly cases.

There is a store on this site that has a lot of cases. I glanced at it the other day with the intentions of going back for a closer look. Guess I figured that I wanted to be sure that I was going to keep the TP2 before buying many assessories.

I had the body glove one for my TP and it looked like an actual brick... I bet the TP2 looks like a cinder block in this thing. lol.

i actually have that case, bought it at a mall kiosk! not bad, but the body glove fits better and had a wider whole in the back around the camera, not just those two slots.

I actually like the BG, but I only use the back of it. I combined that with a clear front. That setup makes the phone a bit smaller but still gives an awesome grip on it.

i like mine, the grip is superb! i was looking at the clear cases at verizon, but liked the bg a little better.

Take a peek at your local Best Buy. They tend to have things out of the blue that aren't listed online. I remember seeing a soft rubber one at my local Best Buy for my TP1 a ways back that surprised me in that they had it. It wasn't bad and allowed for the keyboard slide action, but I already had the Seidio hard shell case and clip.

I'm expecting my TP2 tonight(if the UPS guy ever delivers it). This time around tho, I am thinking of going with more of a leather type flip open case. Something along the lines of this...

the 1st one has a magnet, i don't know about that one. the 2nd looks nice.

I think you'd be fine with the magnet because it wraps around and clasps on the backside of the phone, not on the front/screen area.

I doubt this is what the OP is looking for tho, if he wants thin and slim.

those are nice, but not my style. i like the silicon and rubber shell ones. that u can jus slip into your pocket. i hate how iphones has all the good silicon and rubber shell cases. soooo unfair

They're great cases and I don't think you'll find one any thinner. I've had one for each of my last phones, including the AT&T Tilt. Haven't gotten around to getting one for my Tilt 2 yet, it actually fits in the Tilt's case. Just not snuggly.

The best thing for me is it comes with a leather belt loop as an option. Far better than belt clips. If it's on your belt the case won't come off. And if you keep the case in your pocket the belt loop is unnoticable.

i bought the OEM G1 T-mobile soft case off Amazon. fits the TP2 perfectly. no clip or anything tho. the case is non slip so its sticks to everything
