Disable Missed Call If Voicemail Is Left

Shot in the dark, but I thought I'd try.

I find it really annoying when someone leaves a voicemail and it results in a missed call as well. Is there any way to disable the missed call notification if the same call leaves a voicemail?

Or at least change the order of notification, so you can go right to vm...
