speedbooster 2.0.20 is one of the easiest and most effective programs for increasing the battery life!

also if you use S2U2, lot of people say the new one doesnt kill battery but i beg to differ. i used it couple of days. went HALF THE DAY and battery died! took it off instantly and used the 6.5 smart lock. and fulll day im at 65 with moderate use. i have no push internet on and i have my email checked every 2 hours. hope that helped.

I recently read an excellent blog written by one of PPCG TP2 users, Kabuk1, which has some great info on exactly what you are looking for... Link below...

Also, I recommend Lumos to cut down on the power consumed by the GIANT screen we have... Lumos is a free app hosted over at XDA...

Here's the link:

Hope this helps...

I still don't know what happened, but after having my phone for about a month, my battery changed over night. I went from barely getting through a day on a charge, to where I'm only charging it about every three days now. I changed NOTHING on it. I have bluetooth on all the time, I use S2U2, I text, talk and browse the internet. I use an average of 20% battery life per 18 hour day.

I know this doesn't help you much, but it shows there is either something in the programing, or the batteries themselves that is causing the drain. I wish I knew what it was I did, if it even was something I did to fix the battery life. I'm just thankfull it happened. :)

All I have done to the phone was load the flip clock, no curtains, task bar, and S2U2. I had all the exact same programs loaded before and after the change. I'm boggled.

I have had weird changes in battery life too, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, by major amounts. Not sure why....

Re: boost battery performance

Ever since I got my TP2 the battery has been God-like! The second day I had it I was using GPS all day (for about 5 hours straight) without charging it and when I got home I looked at my battery because I had to leave back out and only 2 of the bars were gone! By the time I got back home (about a full 8 hours of phone using, sending texts and using GPS) the battery still had 60% battery left............on the stock rom! The only thing I did was the PollInterval regedit......I guess it works!

Re: boost battery performance

The battery performance has been very random for me as well. Though I have noticed something that makes me wonder. The signal seems to be fluctuating on my phone a lot recently. I only noticed this because I work at a hospital and at my desk, my phone always has full signal and am able to make calls with ease. Past week or two, I might have to force roaming to be able to get a signal at all. Though this is not all of the time, just at seemingly random intervals.

Maybe they are upgrading the towers or playing with the power to them.

Re: boost battery performance

Thats funny because the signal indicator on my phone is always lit up (always full bars) and my internet connection seems to be a lot faster than on the TP1! The only thing is when I do the tweaks for fast internet my sprint tv doesn't work!
