I've been on the GV thing for a little while (had an invite from day one) It (in my opinion) is still pretty clunky. The transcripts are not as accurate as I had hoped. The interface (contacts, groups, etc) was not easy to setup properly. Better yet, it was not intuitive.

I'm a GFanboy...so I think I'll still stick with GV until something better comes along.

same here. the transcripts have worked fine for me. except for mumbling friends the only thing it mis-understands is peoples names which I rarely can understand myself. ;b
and the group management in google does leave alot to be desired. biggest thing that annoys me is that ONLY contacts in "My Contacts" are synced with the phone.

thats funny that you don't think they wouldve upgraded their system or program in 1 year. I like google but i like the phonefusion visual voicemail app better.

The conditional call forwarding is free for those customers with the Simply Everything plan. Based on the information available to me this starts late November.

So I guess it's a NO to SERO

It is up, trust us on this one. You used to have to call to get call forwarding, you can now do it by punching in some numbers. Its pretty obvious that its working.

I totally agree that Google Voice has a long way to go. Wonder when they will make there own visual voicemail service.

Sorta off topic, but if you sign up for google voice and pick one of their numbers, can you change that to your cell number and use those features instead? Or would you need to sign up for another account?
