Complete beginner! Help

I want to learn how to get files from the forum to work on my TP2. Can anyone with time and patients please help???

what type of files? what is the extention?

For cab files (mostly whats posted here)
There are many ways. Move them to your phones documents shortcut and let activesync (Mobile Device Center if using Vista) save them to your phone. Or, open activesync (MDC) and explore your device and save them to the folder to your choosing. Or lastly, remove your MicroSD card and save to that device (so if you do a hard reset thay are there for U).

Just email them to yourself as an attachment, and then save them to a folder on your storage card. Then run them from a file explorer
