MWWiFiRouter and Stealth

Does anyone know if MWWiFiRouter allows for Stealth tethering?
If not what happens if i download the stealth tethering cab, or does stealth tethering only work for hard cabled connections.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Do you need to worry about stealth tethering with Sprint? Can they detect it?

Why is that? What are the cooked ROMs adding or removing that let you tether without getting caught?

I say this because I have never done anything special, and never once have I ever been dinged for tethering (on Sprint or AT&T).

Just installed WMWiFiRouter and that was all I needed

When tethering with a cable, I used PDANet and I was unseen.
Now using MWWifiRouter, the data usage on my account just keeps going up and up.
I've got the unlimited data plan, so I'm OK.
Still well below the 5GB, but I would prefer to not have the data usage show up if at all possible since I don't relish the thought of going up against the 5GB barrier.

I don't understand how using pdanet have anything to do with data usage limits. using pdanet might have hidden your phone as modem to sprint, but it would have shown how much data was used. anyways, i seen ppl who used over 5gb in this forum so wount worry about it too much

By default Sprint diabled the PAM when you connected to a computer. A few registry mods allowed Disk Drive and Internet Connection sharing.

A few other mods removed a second data profile; a profile that the phone would switch to when used as a modem. Anytime data was accessed with the second profile, Sprint would know.

So you remove the second profile, and enable the internet connection sharing = stealth tethering.

Even when using a Wifi Router like program you should stll disable the second profile.

So is this included in the sprint cleanup cab that's become a sticky "if you know" ?
