Plus Code Dialing
 

Does plus code dialing only work in GSM mode on the Touch Pro 2. The information on Sprint's international web page for this phone seems to indicate it.

Out of the box if I dial an international # on CDMA, i.e. +91....., I get a few normals rings and then an error message that the # is incorrect.

If I install the cab to show all the hidden phone options, and enable plus code dialing on the first radio, nothing happens when I dial an international. The phone just ignores that I have pressed the talk button.

Any ideas? All the #'s in my address book at listed with plus codes so I don't have to change them when I move from country to country.

If you go to phone settings and click CDMA services tab. Scroll down to plus code dialing and click get settings. Enable this and press OK. This worked for me. Hope it helps.

Yah, that seems to work in most of the cooked roms.

The stock sprint rom has a different screen for plus code dialing where you choose between two radios. If you set it to the first radio and try to make a call to a + number, nothing happens at all, not even an error. The documentation for the phone implies that plus code dialing only works on the GSM radio with a stock rom.
