TP2 - MyMobiler - Keyboard lag
During the day at work i have my phone connected to my computer using MyMobiler. (AWESOME app by the way, especially for free!)
When i text there is a huge amount of keyboard lag which causes it to miss characters and make it next to impossible to use. Any ideas how to fix this? It used to work just fine on my Mogul so i really hope this is a setting that can be adjusted as I’ve gotten very used to using a normal keyboard to fire off texts. :D PS: It did this out of the box, and now i also have NRG's rom on it and it still happens... Ive looked through the tweak settings for anything that might help and haven’t found anything that affected the situation at all.. |

It lags via Bluetooth; however, via USB I have no lag.

To clarify I’m using USB and this is not a data connection/speed problem as I can transfer files to and from my phone at normal speeds.
This is some kind of keyboard cache problem or something like that. I can pretty much see it fall behind as I type and then it just starts dropping stuff... I can type about 80 words a minute so I know that kind of fast, but my HTC 6800 (mogul) handled it just fine as well as the MyMobiler software. I’m guessing that they turned down a cache setting or something somewhere to free up resources for the OS and what not, but I have no clue where a setting would be for something like that. |
