WM 6.5, HTC Sense 2.5 Problems setting quick links default browser to opera.

Anyone have an idea on how to change the quick links (Home page bookmarks) default browser to Opera? I already changes the registry key for default browser is IE to 0, and other tweaks I could get my hands on. But the home page quick links still open with PIE, not opera. I guess something else controls how they open. Any advise would be much appreciated. I already searched around the forums but no response.
Thanks

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
"0"=Opera Browser
"1"=\Windows\OperaL.exe

if what Λ said didnt work try......

opening opera, in address bar type opera:config. press enter itll bring up a preference editor.......... scroll to install....... click it.........check the box next to browser first time launch........ now save....... now exit opera completely and restart opera again...............

now check and see if the default browser is opera, you may need to restart phone after that for it to work, but this has never failed me yet......
