What's your memory usage on the new (Leo) Roms?
 

Running the 11/03 NRG 6.5 leo rom... I'm at 59% at bootup, with nothing starting up at boot, and around 85-89% after just a few programs. Even after closing them I can only get back into 70% or so, maybe.

Are you guys getting the same thing?

What if anything have you done to get your mem usage down or at least lower it back down without having to softreset (more than I would like to).

Otherwise, wow... just amazing job HTC has done with the Sense theme.

80% and I don't care. Everything runs fine. That's what matters...right?

... for best performance to re-claim memory usage, run the disable push internet and SSK dynamic proxy cab. Then get HTC addics clean ram. All of those r freeware. If you do that you will run fresh boot 40% and after a few hrs of closing and opening around 60%... if you run clean ram and all other stuff is closed expect to be back around 45%

True, but I do notice sluggishness......

Gator, which cabs are you referring to/using? I had a disable push but I dont think it did anything.

Edit: Installed and softreset, at 56% and 79MB free after reset. About the same. hmm....

to me on these custom roms those two cabs didnt really do anything.

yeah mighty uses push thats why he uses opera 9.5 not the new 9.7 till it supports push ... also some custom roms might have them baked in as oem's


they not only save ram but flash space as well for more room to install aps to device memory instead of sd card... was defiantly needed on stock ...

i am running the energy rom 2.1 manilla .. with both installed and after all day of using apps and my phone i was @ 80% usage .. just let clean ram run level 3 now i am back down 2 67% 23mb saved

storage w/lotsa apps installed to device memory.

I am getting 49% on boot with my "leo rom" with sense 2.5 and 18mb pagepool. I could get it lower might have to look into it.

Is it still snappy with 18mb?
